Time for You

Marie Farrugia, of Time for You, provides practical ideas and information in a way that has a lasting effect on her audiences. Via keynote presentations, training, workshops and one-on-one coaching in the following areas: Work-life Balance, Self-management & Empowerment, Networking.
Marie needed a flexible self managed approach for sending out emails to her database of clients. Since Marie began using DIY Email Manger she has found many different uses for the software including:
- Sending her monthly Time Tip
- Following up with participants post workshops or events
- Sending out notification of upcoming events
- Sending out other announcements
Marie uses two templates for her email newsletters, one for the Monthly Time Tip and a “blank” one for general announcements. Each allows Marie to communicate with clients in an easy and professional manner while being consistent with the Time for You brand. Marie can send newsletter/communications from anywhere in the world – and she has done this on a few occasions!
The statistics feature in DIY Email Manager allows Marie to easily track the results of her email newsletter and the main statistics that she uses are:
- Newsletter Open – allows Time for You to track what headlines work etc.
- Link Click-through Statistics – for tracking how many people are moving to another page onto her website.
By sending out her newsletter regularly, Time for You has experienced several successes that have resulted in increased business growth. Most recently;
- Featuring a new product, The Secrets of the Anti Diet, in the May Time Tip, this resulted in their biggest sales to that date from the newsletter.
- A newsletter subscriber referred Time for You to their Association as a Speaker and Time for You was consequently hired to present at their monthly breakfast event.

I would highly recommend having two separate templates made up; a "blank/generic" version is terrific for general announcements etc. I use this one more than the monthly Time Tip Template! It's a simple and professional way to stay in touch with clients and prospects. I've even used it for a birthday invitation to a small group of friends! |
